Laurie Brooke Seidenberg is a practicing attorney in the Seidenberg Law Office in Laramie, Wyoming. Ms. Seidenberg graduated from Cornell University (B.A.- Government) and then the University of Wyoming College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree.
Ms. Seidenberg has been in private practice in Wyoming since 1975. During that time, she has taught Criminal Procedure and Constitutional Law in the University of Wyoming’s Political Science Department, and Business Law in the Department of Management and Marketing. Although she has practiced in many areas, including business law, consumer rights, criminal law, employment law, immigration, Social Security, personal injury, real estate, lemon law, and contracts, in recent years Ms. Seidenberg has focused on family law, including divorce, custody, child support, adoption, rights of low income individuals, and conflict of law cases. She has been an outspoken advocate for First Amendment rights throughout her career. She is currently a member of the Wyoming State Bar, Wyoming Trial Lawyers, Laramie Community Youth Justice Project, and served as advisory attorney to the Wyoming Health Council.
Ms. Seidenberg was one of twelve Wyoming Delegates to the National Women’s Conference in Houston. She served as a Commissioner of the Wyoming Fair Employment Commission, and was President of Wyoming Chapter of American Civil Liberties Union. She published a handbook on Civil Procedure for Wyoming Sheriffs while serving on the Governor’s Planning Committee on Criminal Administration for the State of Wyoming, the Legal Status of Homemakers in Wyoming, and The Community Speaks Out—A Report on Youth Justice in Albany County, Wyoming. Ms. Seidenberg has argued cases before the Wyoming Supreme Court and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
